Inspired by a feeling of claustrophobia – AFAS has created a track that takes on a mixture of retro & freestyle elements. A slow-burner, AFAS shines through with flowing bars, reinforced by a powerful 808 and retro piano riff that punches throughout. – Out Now!
Recorded in his home studio in Göttingen, Germany & produced by Fantom, ‘Narcotics’; coming in at 1 minute and 58 seconds, emanates a deliberate exasperation with ever-changing rules.
AFAS hopes the track inspires others to not ‘fall off’ during lockdown, to try and put their energy into new things and take the time for personal growth.
“Now is the time to get closer to your goals and to find out what you really want in your life, what’s important and what toxic habits you’re holding onto. – These times are so different than everything we know, and some people are going crazy during isolation, but better times are on the way. One day this will come to an end and we can all party again.” – AFAS
