We are counting down the days for this release. Giampaolo Pasquile’s ‘Drinkin’ My Emotions’ is out on August 14th, and combines themes of disappointment and loss with an infectious beat and catchy chorus.

Drinkin’ My Emotions – Turning A Setback Into An Opportunity

‘Drinkin’ My Emotions’ has everything you could wish for in a track. This includes an interesting backstory and an unforgettable beat intertwined with subdued moments of emotion. The song itself is packed with funky synth patterns and glittering 80s vibes, whilst still relaying a relatable tale of loss and confusion. I mean, who hasn’t drunk their emotions at some point?

Creating the track came with plenty of challenges. During quarantine, Giampaolo was producing a remix of a song for a contest. He worked tirelessly to create a beat that paid homage to the classic 80s analog sound. Unfortunately, a technical bug in the platform prevented both himself and the singer from progressing within the contest. Giampaolo also faced difficulties in his private life, and was left with just a beat that he loved. He then had the idea of transforming a setback into an opportunity, and started afresh. Giampaolo repurposed the-beat, partnering up with featured artist Jimmy Burney to narrate a catchy tale of disillusionment.
