Jack Vane started out working with Steven Williams (Gary Barlow, Sting), and has since been played across BBC Introducing and interviewed by Sean McGinty, with more tracks in the pipeline.
‘Last Night’s Antics’ documents the morning after the night before, but Jack Vane hopes the lyrics are open-ended enough so that each listener can attach their unique story to it.
“I was inspired by the fact that my genre of music is not as much in the mainstream as it used to be, so I wanted to write a hit that could catch fire and show that my genre deserves to feature more in the charts.”
Jack Vane is an aspiring professional songwriter, who initially got into poetry before transitioning to songwriting. A huge Jim Morrison fan, some of Jack’s other key influences are Elton John, David Bowie and T. Rex. His dream songwriting collaboration would be with Alex Turner or Richard Ashcroft.
