Former Pussycat Doll; Melody Thornton, Carves Out Her Own Path With New Cinematic Inspired Single ‘Love Will Return’, Released On November 15th. Melody Thornton has always been a trailblazer, having been an integral member of the multi-platinum selling pop juggernaut; Pussycat Dolls, to now being an assured and fabulous solo artist in her own right.
Love Will Return
Melody will release her brand new single ‘Love Will Return’ on November 15th! She’s heavily inspired by classic divas such as Sadé and Shirley Bassey alongside more contemporary influences such as Quentin Tarantino film scores.
Thornton has been biding her time when it comes to releasing music as it was integral for her to find her own true sound. After starring in Dancing On Ice, The Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls and Celebs Go Dating, Melody needed to rediscover her own identity.
‘Love Will Return’ transforms classic string and horn arrangements, injecting Melody’s signature youthful energy. With her stating the track ‘isn’t a throwback. I’m looking forward whilst never forgetting where I came from.’
Melody wants her music to provoke thought and conversation about the current state of the nation in the US. She is using her life experiences to fuel her passion and purpose. Adding that she wants to stay true to her vocal ability and that to release music that she can feel proud of.
