Set to grace our ears once again, Neave Zaria is back with her latest single ‘Never The Same’ Out Now. The song will highlight her soul-filled, jazz vocals and can only be described as unmatched, rare and powerful.
Her third single, ‘Never The Same’ channels the essence of Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin & Etta James; it demonstrates clearly her ability to lead and command the track with smoky soul-inspired vocals.
Written on a night flight back from Japan to London, Neave got the inspiration for the song from an in-flight movie. Never one to waste an opportunity, Neave quickly began writing down the lyrics for what would be ‘Never The Same’. Not wanting to let the spark die Neave quickly jumped into the studio with producer Chas Searchfield the day after she landed back in London.
Taking the listener on a journey exploring iconic sounds and themes, the track explores an argument between childhood friends, and it’s effect on their relationship as a whole.
