Our CEO, Jon Skinner is over in LA to attend a number of conferences including LA Sync Mission.
Now in its 12th year, the event is held annually and co-hosted by the Music Publishers Association (MPA), UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
LA Sync Mission is an event, which welcomes a multitude of UK independent music companies including independent publishers, labels, library owners, composers and songwriters. Along with the chance to gain a better insight into the US sync licensing market, the event is a brilliant opportunity to meet with some of the biggest gatekeepers in US television, film, video games and advertising.

We’ve been able to provide Music Gateway members with the opportunity to showcase their tracks to high-level music supervisors whilst we’re out there. To do this we ran our own project and after pitches and much hours of A&R we thought we’d show you some of the members that were chosen for the opportunity!
If you would like to hear more about opportunities like this you can sign up here.
“I have been a member of Music Gateway for less than a month and am already feeling very excited about it. Having tried various online pitching sites I can safely say this is the best by miles because there are real, contactable people at MG who get back to you efficiently and keep you informed on your pitches. It is fantastic to have a hard-working, high-standard networking system for busy professional musicians who want to be creative and collaborative. I’m really looking forward to working with MG and creating wonderful music and new opportunities”
“We’re a writing duo based in Liverpool, but because of Music Gateway we have access to the world. Whether there’s a brief from America; Asia; or Europe, we have access to it and a chance to land it. My writing partner and I began using the platform a few months back and it’s not gone unnoticed how much work has been put into diversifying & expanding the amount of briefs we get, we’re eager to hear the results of the LA sync mission and also honoured to have been chosen for it.”
“Keymono is a four-piece Soul/Electronica outfit based in London. Our music is a blend of Soul, Jazz, and Electronica that represents a seamless array of unlikely genres. By incorporating electronic instruments with the classic sound of real instruments, Keymono’s music creates a sonic atmosphere that rests on the verge of ethereal. We’ve been working with Music Gateway for more than a year now and are more then happy with all the great services they offer. Helpful staff, interesting opportunities, user friendly website, check it out.”
“I’m rubbish at networking. I freely admit it. I suppose, like many people, I concentrate on what I’m best at and tend to let the things I find difficult slide. I know that’s not how I should be going about my business. Especially when my chosen business is in the music and film industries, where networking is probably more important than in any other. But still I do. And without networking, how am I going to find out who’s looking for the latest piece of music I’ve spent the past months fretting over, sweating over, honing to perfection? Thank goodness for Music Gateway! I’m chuffed that a track of mine has made it to the LA Sync Mission and excited to think of the opportunities it could bring.”
“Music Gateway as a platform couldn’t be anymore cleanly organized, distinct, or easy to use. We set up our profile to completion, and made a few pitches in the first few hours on the the site, and have already been fortunate enough to be selected to appear on several showcase playlists, in an effort on both our part and Music Gateway’s to license some of our music for a major games publisher.”
“As an aspiring Songwriter networking is an essential part of my business, and building relationships means everything. MusicGateway gives me a dedicated platform where I can connect with music supervisors, labels and creators all in one place. Knowing every opportunity is screened before final submission gives me confidence that MusicGateway value their role as intermediary between creator and end user.”
“John Russo is the lead singer / songwriter of the band Reverse Order. With Reverse Order, John has toured the US, Russia, and Mexico, and has supported artists such as Gin Blossoms, and Third Eye Blind. Reverse Order’s songs can be heard on the radio, and they will be returning to this years Van’s Warped Tour along with their anti-bullying / suicide prevention nonprofit, Reverse The Trend. Music Gateway is a great platform to host projects as well as find new ones. The site is easy to navigate, and the diversity of users and projects makes finding a project that fits your needs easy.”
“I started using Music Gateway as a platform from 26 January 2016, I think this is an unique opportunity for artists, producers, managers to showcase there stuff to the music companies and people from music industry. It is easy and comfortable to work with the Music Gateway platform.”
“I am a composer, producer and songwriter from London. I write music for broadcast, libraries and for commercial artists. Music Gateway is a great platform to gain new work, connections and exposure. The system is very well organised and easy to use with a constant flow of new projects and opportunities. They have excellent customer support and are always looking for ways to improve and streamline.”
