‘Just Another Tuesday‘ is the brand new single from phenomenal artist Patrick Girondi. This irresistible blues track is full of soul, a diverse mixture of instruments and messages around an often overlooked topic – Out Now!
Written in collaboration with guitarist Enzo Matera and recorded in Matera, Italy. ‘Just Another Tuesday‘ is the latest track by Patrick with his band The Orphan’s Dream.
Inspired by those still living with orphan diseases – a term used for diseases that are not profitable for governments to research and find treatments for, and as a result, are left underfunded. A genetic therapist himself and owner of Errant Gene Therapeutics, Patrick incorporates all of his ambitions to achieve worldwide awareness for these illnesses into all of his music.
Channelling artists like Buddy Guy and Freddie King, the track is filled with jazzy elements, a slow grooving piano, guitar, bass and brass. An irresistibly bluesy track from start to finish, ‘Just Another Tuesday‘ is a testament to the Chicago music scene’s heart and soul.
Patrick Finely Girondi, originally from the south side of Chicago, is an Italian-American singer-songwriter, author and founder of a gene therapy company. A true jack-of-all-trades, Patrick has released five albums, published a book and has also led his company Errant Gene Therapeutics on a mission to cure Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassemia.
He has also played with the band The Orphan Dream – whose albums focus around orphan diseases. With Patrick himself finding himself on the front lines being involved in pharmaceutical court battles that have lasted as long as five years.
He has received several honours and awards, including Best Video form the Giffone Film Festival, Video of the Year in Italy, International Indie Artist of the Year as voted by the Indie Music Writer’s Association and Induction into the Academia di Sicilia, Palermo, recognised for his artistic and scientific contributions to humanity.
