The Production Music Association (PMA) are holding a two-day event this year – known as the Production Music Conference – on October 17th and 18th 2016 in Santa Monica which will be a great opportunity for all publishers to get involved in.
The Production Music Association is hosting their 3rd Annual Production Music Conference on October 17-18, 2016! The conference will kick off with a keynote by the award-winning composer, Harry Gregson-Williams, who has scored such films as The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The Martian, and the Shrek franchise, all of which have surpass $1Billion in box office sales. Tuesday’s keynote will offer insight from recording artist, songwriter, investor and essayist, D.A. Wallach, who has toured with N*E*R*D, Lady Gaga and Weezer.

The 2-day event hosts panels discussing the DOJ Ruling, Advertising: Sync’ing Up the Ins and Outs of Music in Ads, Recording, Mixing and Mastering for Production Music, and everything in between. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet and network with industry executives from ASCAP, SESAC, BMI, 5 Alarm Music, Warner/Chappell Production Music, APM Music, Red Bull Media House, Megatrax, EMI Production Music, and more.
This environment will be flued with Industry experts offering advice that could be of great use to enhance your knowledge and skills, whilst also giving you the chance to network with others in the same field of work.
