We’re Back From LA Sync Missions
It’s all about Sync! CEO Jon Skinner is out in LA for the 13th annual LA Sync Missions, building and establishing relationships with a whole host of supervisors and placement executives from TV, Film, Advertising and Gaming. Whilst there, he also received industry insight into what sets you above the rest when it comes to pitching, to those all elusive yet attractive Sync opportunities.
The sync mission is carefully curated so that attendees can get a full insight into the world of Sync, from the heart and minds of Music Supervisors, Agencies, and sync related companies. Jon has been soaking up so much information and is passing it on to our members. He has been busy blogging, keeping you all in the loop with what he has learned.
Top Tips from Jon’s Blog
– Personal emails with context are the most effective
– Keep your emails short, sweet and relevant
We’re Expanding Our Catalogue
You may have seen that we have recently created some projects, advertising that we are looking for authentic tracks from a particular era. By authentic, we mean that the client wants tracks that were recorded and released in said era.
We’re expanding this hunt across the board with Music Gateway – we’re searching for even more bespoke and unique music to pitch to our clients.
Our top priorities are:
– Blues Rock
– Soul Blues
– Motown Soul
– Slow Indie
– Top 40 Pop
– Authentic 1960’s Vocal Jazz
If you fit into those categories, don’t hesitate to reach out to us to let us know, or submit them to the Sync Portal.
We can’t wait to hear what you’ve got to share!
