This week we had two birthdays in the office! On behalf of our team we want to wish a very happy birthday to both our CEO Jon Skinner and our COO Phil Carr!

Other than having quite a celebratory atmosphere in the office this week, here’s the highlights of what’s been happening.

Opportunities:

To begin with for our producers we have a great paid work opportunity with a $2,250 – $7,500 budget. The project is for recording an instrumental jazz/ slow funk/ Brazilian samba jazz/ bossa nova album. If you think that’s one for you, check it out HERE.

If you’re a talented, professional vocalist and you can record at tyour own home studio and turn ideas around quickly, this is one for you! This is a collaboration project for songs that will be pitched to Major label artists in the US and UK through the project owner’s management links. If you decide to pitch on this project please do make sure your profile is complete as the project owner will want to check out your vocal abilities! You can check this project out HERE.

Also, we have an award-winning songwriter looking for a multi-instrumentalist/producer to collaborate with targeting labels/artists for licensing deals. This project is live HERE.

If you’re a Techno/D’n’B artist Slinkiemusic – an independent record label is looking for new tracks to sign. You can submit your pitches HERE but make sure you have the track you’re pitching on your profile so they can check it out.

For our PR/Marketing users we have an exciting new alternative rock band looking to get some more exposure and are looking for an experienced professional/company to get their music to the right places. You can have a look at their project HERE.

What else has been going on this week?

We’ve joined forces with Nimbit & Presonus to deliver nearly $5,000 worth of goodies!

And our Content Manager Jonathan Bond has provided quite an interesting article about those moments when you’re at a gig and you see a sea of cameras in front of you. The message is: Put down the camera and enjoy the gig!

Have a great weekend and as always, if you want to talk to us just drop us a line at support@musicgateway.com and we’ll be happy to help!
