The inception of Latitude was in 2006. We established our base in the picturesque location of Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk. The inaugural event featured headline performances from Snow Patrol, Anthony and the Johnsons, and Mogwai.
The first-ever Latitude Festival showcased an abundance of musical talent, with Snow Patrol, Mogwai, and Antony And The Johnsons leading at the Obelisk Arena. The Music Arenas were filled with performances from The Zutons, The Lemonheads, Patti Smith, Larrikin Love, Soft Hearted Scientists, Field Music, Paolo Nutini, and Archie Bronson Outfit.
The Arts Arenas were brimming with a variety of performances from cabaret, comedy, film, literature, theatre, and poetry. This included notable figures like Luke Wright, Inua Ellams, Lemn Sissay, Josie Long, and Robin Ince with his book club. Other prominent names such as Marcus Brigstocke, Sean Lock, Ben Moor, Nabokov, and Roger Lloyd Pack were also part of the lineup.

With performances from Pulp, Paolo Nutini and George Ezra, The Kooks, and much more, this year is proving to be the festival of the summer!
The year 2022 marked another fantastic event at Henham Park for Cinch presents Latitude. The weekend was filled with beautiful sunshine, featuring headline performances by Lewis Capaldi, Foals, and Snow Patrol.
Foals delivered a dynamic performance at the renowned Obelisk Arena on Saturday night. The show was highlighted by confetti, streamers, and lights alongside their popular hits. Yannis Philippakis, the band’s frontman, even jumped into the audience to mingle with fans at the barrier.
The festival concluded on Sunday with Snow Patrol, where the audience enjoyed massive group singings of hits such as ‘Chasing Cars’ and ‘Run’. Additionally, they had an unexpected treat in store – a guest appearance from Ed Sheeran who performed his popular song ‘Bad Habits’.
One of the unique features of Latitude is its focus on sustainability. The festival has implemented a number of initiatives to reduce its environmental impact, including using renewable energy sources, recycling and composting waste, and encouraging attendees to use public transportation.
