Batman: Arkham City (Armoured Edition)
Rocksteady Studios and WB Games Montréal developed Batman: Arkham City in 2011.
It is based on the DC Comics superhero Batman and it is the sequel to the 2009 video game Batman: Arkham Asylum. Additionally, it is the second instalment in the Batman: Arkham series. Paul Dini, Paul Crocker and Sefton Hill wrote batman, inspired by the long-running comic book mythos.
Batman is incarcerated in Arkham City, a super-prison enclosing the decaying urban slums of fictional Gotham City. Our hero must uncover the secret behind a sinister scheme orchestrated by the facility’s warden, Hugo Strange.
Actors from the DC Animated Universe perform the voices of the main charactrs. This includes Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reprising their roles as Batman and the Joker, respectively.
It is presented from a third-person perspective with a primary focus on Batman’s combat and stealth abilities and detective skills. Additionally, it focuses on his gadgets that can be used in both combat and exploration.
As Batman, you can freely move around the Arkham City prison, interacting with characters and undertaking missions. You can also unlock new areas by progressing through the main story or obtaining new equipment.
The player is able to complete side missions away from the main story to unlock additional content and collectable items. Batman’s ally Catwoman, is another playable character. The game features her own story campaign that runs parallel to the game’s main plot.
Batman Arkham Origins
At WB Games Montreal, Batman is one of their main franchises. WB Games Montréal also developed theBatman: Arkham Origins in 2013. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment published the game.
This Batman game is based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, as the title suggests. It is the follow-up to the 2011 video game Batman: Arkham City and is the third main instalment in the Batman: Arkham series.
Corey May, Ryan Galletta and Dooma Wendschuh wrote the storyline. The game’s main storyline is set eight years before 2009’s Batman: Arkham Asylum and follows a younger, less-refined Batman.
The crime lord Black Mask places a country on Batman. This draws eight of the world’s greatest assassins to Gotham City on Christmas Eve, Batman must bring Black Mask to justice.
He must do this while also hiding from the police and facing other villains. This includes the fan-favourites, Joker and Anarky, who take advantage of the chaos to launch their own nefarious schemes.
Gotham Knights
Gotham Knights is an upcoming action role-playing video game based on the DC Comics character Batman and his supporting cast. For this instalment of Batman, WB Games Montreal are developing it and will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
They will release the game in 2022 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
The story takes place in a period of decline for Gotham City, after Batman’s death. Players take control of the Dark Knight’s former partners – Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood, all of which have gone their separate ways. However, they must work together once more to restore justice to Gotham and prevent it from descending into chaos.
At some point during the game, the hero’s conflicts with the Court of Owls, a secret criminal society that is as old as Gotham itself. Their legion involves brainwashed assassins called Talons. Our heroes must fight all these obstacles while also investigating Batman’s death and how and why it came to fruition.
Lego Legends Of Chima Online
Lego Legends of Chima Online was a massive multiplayer online role-playing video game based on the Lego Legends of Chima toy line. The game was developed by WB Games Montréal, and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
It was released for Microsoft Windows and OS X on 11 October 2013, and for iOS on 10 March 2014.
An Android version of the game was announced but never released. The game was closed on 1 June 2015, due to a lack of updates causing the game to not generate enough revenue.

EA Vancouver
EA Vancouver (also known as EA Burnaby and formerly known as EA Canada) is a Canadian video game developer located in Burnaby, British Columbia.
The development studio opened as Distinctive Software in January 1983 and is also Electronic Arts’s largest and oldest studio.
EA Vancouver employs approximately 1,300 people and houses the world’s largest video game test operation.
They are a larger operation than WB Games Montréal and has also published significantly more games. However, WB Montréal’s Arkham game franchise is extremely critically acclaimed and therefore suggests that this developer is more consistent with making good games.
Radical Entertainment
Radical Entertainment is another Canadian game design studio based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. Sierra Entertainment acquired them in 2005, and then Activision acquired them in 2008. They were responsible for The Crash Bandicoot series, and they also developed the Prototype series.
Unfortunately, after the Prototype 2 launch didn’t find the hoped-for success in 2012 (despite being pretty well received, sales just weren’t high enough), Activision drastically reduced the size of Radical Entertainment.
It’s no longer developing its own games, but serving as a support team for other Activision projects. The crash bandicoot series was extremely popular and successful and therefore makes this firm stand up against WB Games.
BioWare
BioWare is a Canadian video game developer based in Edmonton, Alberta. It was founded in 1995 by newly graduated medical doctors Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk, alongside Trent Oster, Brent Oster, Marcel Zeschuk and Augustine Yip. Since 2007, the company has been owned by American publisher Electronic Arts.
BioWare specializes in role-playing video games and achieved recognition for developing highly praised and successful licensed franchises: Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
They proceeded to make several other successful games based on original intellectual property: Jade Empire, the Mass Effect series and the Dragon Age series. In 2011, BioWare launched their first massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Star Wars: The Old Republic.
