Ever had a release, only to find your music shared readily on sites like media fire, and zippy share?
It can be incredibly damaging to your music sales, and now more than ever the attitude towards piracy is shifting from being a general annoyance, to something of importance that is causing musicians and those that work in the industry are banding together to end.
Anti-Piracy company AudioLock are in the forefront of this battle, and they could be the one’s to turn the tide.
We met AudioLock at BMC (the Brighton Music Conference) and immediately knew they fit with our vision for a fair and equal opportunity industry that supports artists and musicians worldwide.
With that in mind, we teamed up with them to bring you this great opportunity to receive £1500 worth of AudioLock Anti-Piracy protection for a year, (and with it the ability to monetise your music more effectively)
You can check the project here.
Their system is remarkable, you upload your music, and it searches the web for the files, and brings to you links where your music has been uploaded. You can then issue a DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) takedown, which forces the site owner to remove the content. By removing these, official downloads and social media links get much better ranking on Google searches, so your fans will actually see and buy your releases!
AudioLock endeavors to be transparent in all its operations. Clients are given full access to all anti-piracy results appertaining to their uploaded releases in their personal dashboard as well as links to publicly available records such as Google’s Transparency Report
The dashboard shows clearly where, when and how many copyright infringing url’s the system has removed on a client’s behalf
The time to end piracy and support the artists you love first-hand is now.
