Across the two days, the Sync Sessions will present multiple panels and discussions with industry professionals including publishers, record labels, film & TV producers, supervisors, composers and CEOs.
The first wave of speakers has recently been announced which includes Alex Black, Global Director of EMI Production Music, Nicky Bignell, Head of Music Licensing at the BBC, Duncan Smith, Senior Music Supervisor at Sony Playstation and a selection of supervisors who have worked on productions including Luther, Amy, The Theory of Everything, Absolutely Fabulous, Saw, Ice Age, Lawless and many more.
This years event will see a special appearance from the executive branch of the Guild of Music Supervisors – John Houlihan, Joel C. High and Jonathan McHugh. The Sync Sessions will provide a platform for them to announce plans for a GMS European Chapter.
So, why are we telling you this?
Aside from it being a great networking opportunity, we’re very happy to announce that Music Gateway’s Private Network will be the official platform for delegate submissions! When you purchase a Sync Sessions ticket, you will be able to submit your music for the chance of it being received and reviewed by the attending supervisors. Our A&R team, along with representatives from Metropolis, will whittle down the submissions and create the final playlists which will be shared with the supervisors.
You’d be crazy to pass up the opportunity to attend such a prestigious event, so click here to get your tickets.
