Music Gateway has set up a partnership with UK’s BPI (British Phonographic Industry).
BPI is the representative for the UK’s recorded music industry. With British artists accounting for one in eight albums purchased by fans around the globe it’s necessary to have a representative for UK artists and industry professionals a like in order to keep them safe and maintained.
They advocate the interests of their membership, which account for 85% of all music sold in the UK. Their members include over 300 independent music companies and UK major record companies such as Universal, Sony Music and Warner Music. Not only this, but they also organize the BRIT Awards show and the Classic BRIT Awards show as well as having co-ownership of the Official Charts Company with Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA).
