Another successful week goes by and although we’ve been abnormally quiet on the social media front some exciting things have been happening behind the scenes.

As well as some major changes to the internal site here’s what else has been going on…

LA Sync Mission

We’re off to LA Sync Mission on the 12th July to meet with some of the world’s top Music Supervisors as part of a conference set up by BPI, MPA and UKTI.

The pitching period for the project offering Music Gateway members the opportunity to showcase their tracks to Music Supervisors from companies such as Disney, Universal, Warner and much more has now closed.

It’s great that we’ve been able to provide our members with an opportunity like this. It’s also amazing for us to be able to showcase the quality of the professionals we have on the site to these companies. We’ve already seen a number of these companies jump on board and a lot of others starting to peer in to see what we’re about, so it’ll be great to show them the talent they can get connected with through Music Gateway.

Pushing for the Opportunities

Whilst in New York to attend New Music Seminar, further talks took place with UKTI and Atlantic.

Being able to offer Music Gateway members high-level, budgeted opportunities from companies like these is a big achievement for us and we’re constantly pushing to make more of them come through to the site. We see more interest generated week on week for the site and with previous projects from Atlantic and Warner it’s only a matter of time before these become a commonality.

Reeperbahn Festival

We’ve partnered with Reeperbahn Festival 2015 and they’re offering Music Gateway members a 30% discount!

Reeperbahn takes place in Hamburg and combines concerts in a variety of pop-cultural genres with an arts programme and a platform for professionals in the music and digital industries. It is Germany’s largest club festival and since its debut in 2006 has grown to become one of the most important meeting places for the music industry worldwide.

To obtain their discount code, send an email to registration@reeperbahnfestival.com mentioning “Music Gateway Discount”.
