The creation of Music Gateway relies very much on the frustrations that we as a team and particularly our founder have experienced during our time being creative within the industry.
For creatives, there’s so much that needs to be done and so little time to do it. We have broken down barriers for those who remain local when it comes to connecting due to finance and time by creating a project system that allows you to connect with like-minded people from anywhere in the world. This has seen connections and outcomes from all over the world. One of the most recent being between German band, Albert and UK Remixer, BAXT, which you can check out here
Then in a bid to further empower creatives and save them time we moved into the sync space. A highly competitive area that relies on time in both relationship building with clients, finding the right tracks to send and a tonne of paperwork, metadata management and more. Our team saves time for when you need as much time as you can to stay creative, whilst making sure your past creations are still being pushed. Now we have built such an amazing catalogue of your music alongside other members that supervisors love coming to us with their work, queue a plug on our latest sync, Honey 4
Work Smart Not Hard
When we started out in the sync space, we couldn’t believe the amount of hurdles you have to jump over to get to the end goal. Even with the market being as competitive as it is, there are no streamlined ways of presenting, organizing or sharing music and it’s metadata. Work smart not hard? I’m sorry to be the one to break it to you but you’re working hard not smart and in an industry that’s already extremely tough and your income is probably suffering for it.
So as a tech company, it seemed obvious to us that we should put on our cape and come to the rescue, which is exactly what we’ve done with the 2.0 launch happening next week. Let me give you the rundown of just how we’re going to save your world (even if you didn’t know it needed saving).
What are you using to store your files? Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, Amazon? Maybe as a company you have a company file system you can access from your desktops and then you send things externally via WeTransfer folders when you need to.
What about a cloud-based file storage system, kind of like Dropbox, but with the ability to manage all of your metadata globally and individually, with it being attached to WAV files not just mp3? Not only that but if you wanted to send out those files you could send them quickly and neatly (a bit like WeTransfer) but without having to go through the complications of uploading or duplicating your files in folders. Or if you’re feeling really snazzy you can present it in a playlist style with amendable download options, personalized branding and more.
It’s Not Just About Storage
In media it’s as important to be able to manage files as it is to be able to store it, we all know that. That’s exactly what we’re bringing to the table. The audio library feature which is connected to your files in the storage system allows you to intractely search through using Keywords, Moods, Genres, Artists. Basically whatever you want! Then you can select and make playlists or folders of said files for whatever you need them for. Imagine the music search, the paperwork, the organisation and everything else all being done from one central place. Forget the spreadsheets, forget the duplicate files, forget all the multiple steps you’re currently doing to be efficient.
Never Miss An Opportunity
For those of you who already store their data in the cloud, you’re one step ahead and you already know that having your files to hand wherever you are in the world is crucial to the way modern creatives work, whether on the move or in the office. Imagine having that integrated with all the tools above in an APP so you never have to miss a brief that comes through from a client.
Currently, the industry is working around tools that are not built for the industry and switching between multiple solutions. This isn’t good enough and we want to change that. Be a part of the 360 solution.
