Independent Label Market has brought together the founders of over 180 of the World’s greatest independent record labels on both sides of the Atlantic. This year in continued partnership with AIM, the company has announced it’s support for the #LetItBeeb campaign in support of protecting the BBC Music services.
The main goal of the #LetItBeeb campaign (named with the support and consent of Sir Paul McCartney) is to ensure the White Paper does not recommend changes to the distinct identities of BBC Radio 1/1Xtra and BBC Radio 2 or other changes to the BBC’s music services that would reduce the breadth of their output.
This festive season returning to Old Spitafields Market on 28th November for the fifth Christmas market in London and 11th London edition, the campaign will have a prominent presence where over 50,000 music fans, labels and artists alike will have the opportunity to join the campaign and sign the government petition. Find more about how the campaign and how to sign the petition here.
The evening will be fun packed with market exclusives, rarities, signed goods and exclusive test pressings. There will be advanced copies from artists including Björk, Subpac & Belle and Sebastian as well as various featured DJs . Independent artists, labels, pioneers and institutions including:
