Wings for Life is a foundation that funds research into finding a cure for spinal cord injury. With the support of Red Bull, the charity is currently searching for a global anthem for their 2016 Wings for Life World Run event through Music Gateway.

The Wings for Life foundation was founded in 2004 and since have funded 82 international research projects. Over 3 million people world wide are currently handicapped in a wheel chair due to an injury in their spinal cord and the World Run event helps raise awareness and funds towards the cause.

On the 8th of may 2016 at 11 am UTC, All runners world wide will simultaneously run to stay ahead of a pace car. The last participant to stay ahead of the pace car will be the winner. Runners in over 34 countries will compete against each other to win as they all run at the exact same time. People all across the globe will watch the event on TV or online.

Wings for Life are now looking for an Anthem to the World Run event which will be a part of the global campaign and be exposed to millions of spectators around the globe and they are doing this through Music Gateway.

The song must have a positive and energetic vibe to it relating to the topic of running, feeling free, achievement, challenge and overcoming all odds.

It must be suited to motivate the participants in the event and to transport the wings of life message to everyone spectating or taking part in it.
