Our friends at Pledge Music and Help Musicians UK have entered into a partnership to support emerging artists of all genres who have the talent and DIY drive to build a long-term career. The final round for the scheme designed to enable selected artists to run their own ‘Pledge Music campaign’ and to access a top-up grant of between £2k-£5k is open and it’s not too late to apply. You can find more about the campaign by clicking here.
Pledge Music is the world’s leading direct-to-fan music company offering unique ways to involve fans in the music making experience. Their campaigns provide exclusive content, experiences, behind the scenes access and engagement for music fans.
With the previous two submission rounds already done and dusted, running from May 2015 to 2016, the final submission round is set to close on the 30th November. A panel of high profile tastemakers and music industry experts will select eight artists/bands at each round. Panel members for Round 1 & 2 have included Paul Lester (The Guardian), DJ Nihat (BBC Asian Network, BBC Radio 5 Live), Claire Maxwell (Raw Power Management), Tom Robinson (BBC6Music) and VV Brown (Pledge Music Artist)
Exciting right? Pledge Music is a perfect example of a company opening doors to new and exciting opportunities for the music community.
