Festivals for the future of Music
Music Gateway are proud to be supporting the innovative Music Tech Fest in London.
Launched in 2012, the festival successfully integrates an entire music network in one space. Not short of variety the event houses music industry Moghuls, to tech innovators, app creators, developers, researchers, artists, performers and many more.
Names of supporters of this fantastic endeavour range from Spotify, BB, ICRAM, WARP, Oglivy Digital Labs, Soundcloud and many more.
In addition to exciting demos, presentations and instillations, 2013’s event is primarily focussing on music making and performance. This involves the collaboration of guest artists and hackers creating and experimenting with some pretty mind blowing results. So if you’re a fan of new sounds, new devices and electronics this is the place to be.
Despite Music Tech Fest’s futuristic approach to music, this year the 3D Music Hack Camp will celebrating the 100th year anniversary of Luigi Russolo’s “ The Art of Noises”. Music Tech Fest strives to experiment develop Russolo’s revolutionary visions when it comes to sound and technology putting his ideas into practise.
Tech connoisseurs and electro enthusiasts it would be a tragedy to miss this event.
So prepare for the unexpected and pencil in your diary the 17-19th of May.
