DJ Diesel, otherwise known as Shaquille O’Neal, is a renowned basketball player, actor, and now, a music producer. With his larger-than-life personality and a career that spans decades, it’s no surprise that he’s become a successful and respected figure in the music industry

In this article, we’ll be taking a look at the life and career of DJ Diesel and exploring how he has become one of the most influential figures in the music world.

From Basketball to Bigshot DJ

Shaquille O’Neal is known by many names – Shaq, Superman, The Big Aristotle, The Big Shamrock – and now he has a new one: DJ Diesel. O’Neal’s shift to DJing has been evident in recent years, most notably at his “Shaq’s Fun House” event in Los Angeles during Super Bowl weekend.

Shaquille O’Neal began DJing under the moniker “DJ Diesel” in 2014. Better known as Shaq, he has been involved in the music business since the early 2000s and has released two albums, Shaq-Fu: Da Return in 1994 and You Can’t Stop the Reign in 1996.

Kelly, and Mariah Carey. The album was a commercial success, peaking at number 14 on the Billboard 200 and being certified gold.

In 2006, Shaq released his fourth album, The Best of Shaq Diesel. The album was a compilation of his previous hits and featured two new tracks and peaked at number 31 on the Billboard 200

In 2010, Shaq released his fifth album, Shaq-Fu Radio, which was a mix of hip-hop and EDM. The album featured guest appearances from artists such as Flo Rida, Pitbull, and Lil Jon. The album was a commercial success, peaking at number 8 on the Billboard 200 and also being certified gold.

The Later Years

In 2016, Shaq released his sixth album, Shaq Is Back. The album was a mix of hip-hop, EDM, and pop, and featured guest appearances from artists such as T-Pain, Future, and 2 Chainz. The album peaked at number 69 on the Billboard 200.

Shaq has also released numerous mixtapes, including Shaq-Fu Radio: The Mixtape (2009) and Shaq Diesel (2011). He has also released several singles, including “Biological Didn’t Bother” (2003) and “2k15” (2015).

Despite the high costs involved with performing live sets, Shaq still pursues his passion as DJ Diesel as he believes changes people’s lives. He says: “My new business model is I invest in things that are going to change people’s lives…I’d rather have the title — ‘Shaq had the best party ever.'”

DJ Diesel regularly appears at festivals across the USA and in Europe and it looks like the basketball star has no intention of hanging up his decks any time soon!
