About Jeirilyn
"Music courses through my veins" ~ Jeirilyn
Jeirilyn is a Puerto Rican and Colombian Pop and R&B singer and songwriter born in Jersey City, NJ and currently residing in Fayetteville, NC. Her sound is inspired by acts like Brandy, Monica, Toni Braxton Jessie Reyez and Dua Lipa. Her musical journey began when she was 8 years old singing in the school choir and participating in talent shows. She combines her love for contemporary music and her roots in classical training to provide her own hybrid sound that doesn't technically fall into one specific genre.
While serving in the military in 2007, she recorded her first feature “Head Up” on The Koalition’s debut album entitled Rearview. That single reignited her love of music and drive to start writing and singing her own songs. She continues to take vocal lessons as she feels that there is always room for growth and improvement. Her upcoming single "Love Anymore" is a collaboration with The Write Music Group who wrote and produced the track after working with Jeirilyn's idea of a song that reflected being scared to love again after being hurt and betrayed. Jeirilyn is currently working on her first EP which will be released in the summer of 2021. Jeirilyn hopes to inspire other female musicians to be strong, to believe in themselves and to consistently work towards achieving their goals.
