About Jericho Streegan
A budding songwriter with a sensibility for hooks and honesty, Jericho Streegan is one to look out for. Before he started borrowing from soul and R&B greats like Stevie Wonder and Boyz II Men, he borrowed his cousin’s guitar, which was how he began his affair with music.
What started as a desire to jam with friends turned out to be a life-changing passion that led him to signing with a record label. His eagerness to create music is juxtaposed with the calm and soothing way his voice delivers his songs. Apart from the legends mentioned, he is also heavily influenced by Bruno Major, Jeremy Passion, and Mac Ayres. Like these three artists, Jericho has a deep understanding of emotion and melody that either make your soul move and tug at your gut or entice your body to groove to the music. You know how you know it’s good when John Mayer makes faces when his guitar soars or plunges into decadent notes? That’s where Jericho’s music wants to live.
It’s only the beginning for the gifted songwriter as the road ahead is lined with doors of possibilities. It’s Jericho’s house to adorn with melodies and we are his guests of honor, eavesdropping into his slowly unfolding magic.
