HEAD OF MUSIC PR

Infectious is a full-service music PR agency working with artists including Tiësto, Sonny Fodera, CamelPhat, Jess Glynne, Solardo, Snoop Dogg and Major Lazer. Delivering great music to influential ears around the world on a daily basis. We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to join us as our Head of PR.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Day-to-day you will be working across a selection of priority campaigns, developing and implementing strategic communications plans that move the needle. Working closely with our Managing Directors you will be responsible for establishing priorities, setting goals and leading our vibrant team. You will ensure their success, helping them craft campaigns that connect across a wide range of media platforms, achieving high-level coverage on a global scale.

You will drive new methods of measurability and accountability. You will be laser-focused on achieving the best possible results for our clients while finding creative ways to measure and communicate that success.

As part of your role you will work with the Directors to develop an increasingly impressive service offering and create inbound marketing strategies which will grow our business exponentially.

ABOUT YOU

You are passionate about a wide range of music and its impact on popular culture. Dance music, pop, grime, hip hop and indie are in your blood and you love to be in the know about new genres – spotting trends and sharing them with the world is second nature to you.

You have a minimum of five years’ PR/marketing experience with three years in a similar senior music PR role and a degree level 2:1 or above (or equivalent).

Moving the needle is key for us and our clients. You have an innate understanding of the core concepts of PR/marketing and a creative approach to crafting campaigns that exceed expectations.

Proven experience delivering results at the highest level across print press, radio, online and social media is essential. Previous experience with brand partnerships, TV and streaming services is beneficial.

Previous leadership experience is crucial. You must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, a passion for developing new talent and the ability to inspire and motivate individuals and teams.

You are a people person with excellent interpersonal skills, equally comfortable building long-term relationships with clients, contacts, team members, directors and other key stakeholders. You come to the role equipped with an extensive contact list that includes influencers across the media landscape as well as connections across the music industry.

For us, listening and understanding are the first steps of great communication.

So while you are an excellent communicator with impeccable written and verbal skills, you can also demonstrate a capacity to hear and understand what key stakeholders are saying and pass those key concepts forward. Internally and externally.

Organised, efficient and results-focused with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, you have a clear understanding of the relationship between time and results and their effect on our business.

You have a proactive can-do attitude. Whether working in a team or autonomously you are self-motivated, driven and willing to go the extra mile. You always aim to exceed expectations.

Proficiency with various software and analytics tools including G Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics and a desire to explore new, more efficient methods of working is imperative.
