Associated Musicians of Greater NY, Local 802 AFM is the largest local union of professional musicians in the world and a chapter of the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada.

The Supervisor of Electronic Media oversees all Recording Department operations at Local 802, manages a staff of 10 and reports to the Recording Vice President.
The Supervisor will liaise with union members, contractors, employers, producers and others, including those in the Record, TV, Motion Picture, and Commercial Announcement fields and with associated payroll companies.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of industry experience in the fields of recording or related entertainment, in such areas as Business Affairs or A&R Administration.
A proven record of ability in contract administration and compliance, data management and staff management is essential. Helpful is prior experience with AFM national recording agreements.
