SENIOR PUBLICITY OPPORTUNITY (US)

Matador Records is looking for an experienced publicist to work out of our New York offices.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Demonstrate an understanding of growth and movement in the worlds of music and all aspects of media
• Possess a strong roster of contacts across print, online and editorial/TV broadcast and satellite media
• Have prior experience with multiple social media platforms
• Be able to liaise effectively with US + UK label staff on worldwide initiatives
• Work closely with in-house and independent publicists and our marketing department
• Possess strong communication skills – verbal and written (we’ll want to see writing samples)
• Have a strong background re : Matador (the current artist roster and the label history), as well as musical interests/knowledge beyond our walls

At least three years of music PR experience is ideal.
