Joining the Publishing Copyright department in our Berlin or London office, the primary role of the Copyright Assistant will be to assist in correctly registering works and agreements in Germany, Austria and Switzerland at the local collection societies and carrying out all related tasks to maintain and manage our catalogue to highest standards, including working with royalties and distribution.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills when dealing with general enquiries from internal and external sources and can deal with pressure but remain optimistic and persistent to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
The main Copyright team is based in London, so we are looking for a proactive, organized self-starter, with experience of working remotely and independently. Relevant training will be provided, but once the training is completed you will become the main point of contact for any GSA related queries. It’s ideal if you are based in Berlin as it’s a good opportunity to attend society and publisher specific meetings and be aware of any relevant developments in the German Music Market.
