Emcee S Master’s Hip Hop music bares all the hallmarks of yet another street smart rap artist from the culture rich, KZN. His lyrics, a blend of the Zulu and English languages with an obvious deep Zulu accent.
Simphiwe Eric Mtshali a.k.a Emcee S Master was born in January 1992, in Vryheid, KZN at a place called Oqweqwe.
Simphiwe’s love for Hip Hop music started when he was about 12 years old, but it wasn’t until 2011 when he recorded his first track with the FC Boys, a group he and his childhood friends formed that he took his music serious. The track “Phakamisa Ikasi” became popular locally and many people loved it. But it was their follow up a track called “Ma baby”,an instant hit that prompted his move to pursue a music career in Johannesburg in 2012. Here he met and worked with other artists and learned how to mix and master music. And 2016 he started his owning Record Label which is Mzansi Records. And from there he worked and feat many Hip-hop and Kwaito Artists Toxic, Vazz, Sequence, Sabzeroh the bull Lime The Raphic and Tbos.
