Graduating from Leeds University with a BA in Music, Phoebe moved to London where she has been honing her skills as a songwriter and live performer. With powerful lyrics, beautifully crafted melodies, and a soaring soulful voice, Phoebe writes from the heart. Universally relatable narratives are her muse, told through music that dances between soulful ballads and neo-soul pop fusions.
In October 2014, Phoebe was commissioned to write the only piece of music in BAFTA and BIFA winning movie ‘Kajaki. The True Story’ (‘Kilo Two Bravo’ – US release). Her single ‘All Of My Life’ is the theme to the modern British War Film and has reached 100,000 plays on both Spotify and YouTube.
Phoebe has also written with producers across a range of genres including neo-soul, dance, and pop. Phoebe is currently working closely with Berlin based writing team TNC (The Next Classic: Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Chainsmokers, Ariana Grande) and is beginning an exciting new artist project with them this year.
As both a solo artist and with her band, Phoebe has played at a number of prestigious venues including The Pheasantry Music Club @ Pizza Express, The Century Club and Ronnie Scott's. Phoebe has played the festival circuit, including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Local and Live, Standon Calling, and Bestival. She has also performed on BBC Radio Kent and at the private 70th anniversary party for BBC Radio 4 Women's Hour.
Phoebe is currently working with producer Tim Bazell (Duffy, Neneh Cherry) on her new orginal music with plans to record a 4-5 track EP by the end of the year.
