Sammie Matthews Jr, known as PWR Moves, is a New Orleans based producer. Growing up in the lower 9th ward, PWR Moves has always been surrounded by music. Picking up the trumpet at the age of 15 at Carver High School, he's been creating music since. Starting with his brothers David Albert Kelly, known as D-Man Da General and Gerald Jones, PWR Moves assisted in creating multiple videos, songs and photographs. After David's death in 2012, he stopped music and video all together. After years of focusing on making a career, PWR Moves started Pwr Move Productions, Llc with newly released music shortly after.
