I’ve never been a working musician, but have always held onto songwriting. The Beatles were my first real inspiration, followed by an appreciation for artists of every decade in many genres . Anything that’s good . And now I have seemingly acquired the skills necessary to write, perform, arrange, record and engineer my own material in a simple home studio. I really enjoy making a recording. I think of it as painting with sound. If I’m not happy with a texture or color or shape, I can simply redo it.
