URGENT: $2.5 - $10k 80s Glam/Hair Metal/Rock Needed for an up and coming US Film

URGENT DEADLINE - Our client is looking to receive submissions by 5pm GMT today - Tuesday the 20th of February 2018 so make sure you submit your music by 4:30pm so we have time to go through the submissions, create the playlist and send it over to our client. AUTHENTIC ONLY - This is an era-specific brief which means that we are only looking for music released and/or recorded during the 1980s. Please comment on your submission confirming the release date of your track and it's relevance to this brief. We are NOT looking for modern songs which "sound like 80s songs" or "have an 80s vibe" so please don't submit tracks in those lines. We're working with a music supervisor currently looking for a song for a specific scene in a new youth driven, gritty, dramatic, adventure film set in the 80’s. The film is produced by a great team with a back record of critically acclaimed productions. We are looking for track that will be played in when a group of teenagers hang in a car park and the music is blasting out of the speakers. They really like the typical 80’s glam/hair metal and rock sound. Since the film is set in the 80’s the song needs to be an authentic recording/release from the 80’s. Please check out the reference tracks to get a better idea of what were looking for. BUDGET: $2500 all in with options for extra payments (up to an extra $7500) if the film reaches certain box office goals.

£200-£250 Mid Tempo Soulful/Indie With Attitude Needed for Indie Short Film

£200-£250 Mid Tempo Soulful/Indie With Attitude Needed for Indie Short Film

QUICK TURNAROUND - We'll be submitting the final playlist to our client by 10am GMT on Friday the 9th of February. Please make sure that you send your submissions by latest 9am the same day. TRACK COMMENTS - With this brief there's quite a few specifics which we're looking for. Commenting on your submission and highlighting the parts relevant to the brief will help us a lot when listening to your submissions so please do so. We're currently looking for tracks for an independent short film produced by an award-winning team with a great festival track record winning big prizes such as: Cannes, Sundance, BAFTA, BIFAs etc. The film follows the story of two best friends. One of the main characters is faced with a very hard choice and the film shows the journey through this choice and the support she gets from her best friend when making this difficult choice. In this scene the main character asks her friend to stop the car and she gets out to clear her head for a second, when this song comes on the radio. The character then goes on dancing in a carefree way to the song as if forgetting about everything on her mind and getting lost in the song. Genre-wise we're looking for slower soulful pop with a defiant feel to it, a bit of edge/kick to it. The track should be in a similar tempo as the reference tracks. Female vocals are preferred but not a deal breaker if the track is spot on. Lyrical themes should either compliment or at least not contradict with the above described theme. Please Note - This is a second avenue that our client is considering for the same scene as one of the other projects, hence why the scene description is the same.

£200-£250 Dark Indie Pop/Electronic Needed for Indie Short Film

£200-£250 Dark Indie Pop/Electronic Needed for Indie Short Film

At the end of the film, the main character makes a difficult choice right before the end credits. We need a song with an ethereal opening which will lay over the last 15 seconds of the film, then build into an enjoyable tune to provide background for the credits. It should fit a sombre, open-ended ending of a film that leaves you with questions. Think the type of ending that will leave you staring at the credits with thoughts going through your head. Genre-wise, think ethereal, dark, electronic, melancholic, deep, lots of space. Please make sure you check out the reference file as it will give you an idea of the vibe we're going for. Lyrical themes should either compliment or at least not contradict with the above described theme.

URGENT: Argentinian Tango Needed

URGENT: Argentinian Tango Needed

URGENT: We're looking to submit tracks for this brief by 16:00 GMT today Thursday the 25th of January 2018. Please make sure you submit your tracks before 15:30 so we have enough time to review them and put the playlist together and send it off for the deadline. COMMENTS: There are a few "preferred but not required" sections of this brief. Please make sure you add a comment to your track clarifying which category it falls in. The release date and the availability of the instrumental are key pieces of information which might help you get this placement so make sure you add those to the comments. We're looking for Argentinian Tangotracks for a client. Preferably authentic songs from 1987 or before, however if the track has an authentic sound we would be open to new releases. Feel/vibe-wise think songs that have an old, romantic, tango feel. With regards to the vibe also think mysterious/spy sound. Instrumentals are preferred but not required. If available please upload both versions of the track. As is the way the sync world works, super tight turnaround for this one. As always, we've already created and sent a playlist from the sync portal so if you're stuck in the studio or your time zone means you missed this one and had the perfect track in your catalogue, I can't stress enough how important it is to get those tracks in the Sync Portal. Or if you want to receive urgent emails to your inbox when a brief comes in, make sure you're an Influencer or Game Changer.

URGENT: $150k Indie Synth-Pop Tracks Needed for Tech Company Advert

URGENT: $150k Indie Synth-Pop Tracks Needed for Tech Company Advert

URGENT: Please note we aim to deliver songs for this brief by 16:00 GMT Today Friday the 19th of January, so please make sure you finish uploading your tracks by 15:30 GMT the same day. COMMENTS: Comments on tracks help us understand the thought behind the submission and make an accurate decision on how suitable your submission is for this brief. Please make sure you add a comment to each track highlighting why you think it's relevant to the brief. This spot is for a future-thinking tech company. To accompany each montage, our client is looking for fun, upbeat synth-pop music. Anthem-y is okay but nothing that would seem too self-serious. Think electronic sounds with sparse instrumentals at the beginning building towards an energetic middle and end. The tracks must work under a voiceover without overpowering it. Lyrics may be okay, so long as the do not interfere with the voiceover. The big caveat here is that the client generally has an aversion towards 80s music, fearing it will make the brand look dated. So the idea is to evoke an 80s feel without getting too retro or synthwave-y as full-on nostalgia will get killed. Let's flirt with that sound but also keep it contemporary and future forward. With regards to the reference files, keep in mind the following details: - “I Belong In Your Arms” by Chairlift Note: The client felt this was low energy and a little retro. They’re looking for something more anthem-y that builds with energy. - “Once In A Lifetime” by The Talking Heads Note: The client mostly likes the woozy synth loop in the beginning and during the verses As is the way the sync world works, super tight turnaround for this one. As always, we've already created and sent a playlist from the sync portal so if you're stuck in the studio or your time zone means you missed this one and had the perfect track in your catalogue, I can't stress enough how important it is to get those tracks in the Sync Portal. URGENT: Open Budget - F**K YEAH feel inducing Track Needed for Big Brand Advert

URGENT: Open Budget - F**K YEAH feel inducing Track Needed for Big Brand Advert

URGENT: Please note we aim to deliver songs for this brief by 16:00 GMT Today Friday the 19th of January, so please make sure you finish uploading your tracks by 15:30 GMT the same day. COMMENTS: Comments on tracks help us understand the thought behind the submission and make an accurate decision on how suitable your submission is for this brief. Please make sure you add a comment to each track highlighting why you think it's relevant to the brief. We're looking for a song with a sense of optimism, but in more of a “F**K YEAH” way than a poppy, sweet way. The song needs to have a little guts and edge. Don’t want it to feel too bright. Our client has heard a lot of anthem-style music in ads and wants to stretch beyond the slightly expected “optimistic, peppy, lots of clapping with “ooohs” and “aaahs,” sound. The track should drive the edit and push the action forward at a fairly quick pace. It should feel percussive and heavy. Not laconic and melodramatic. Must be modern! Something fresh and current, possibly even something re-imagined. Genre-wise we're looking for something more alternative/indie/rock than country, hip-hop, dance. Please refer to the reference tracks for a better idea. Lyrics should support the optimistic vibe of the piece as a whole without feeling too much like a pep-talk.
