URGENT - Rap/Folk/Country song with strong vocals for TV Alcohol Commercial

URGENT - Rap/Folk/Country song with strong vocals for TV Alcohol Commercial

TV COMMERCIAL: ALCOHOL (UK) A leading UK client requires music for an alcohol product TV commercial. BUDGET: £20,000 UK (all in master & publishing) less commission tbn. Duration of usage: 1 year with options. Media: UK TV, cinema. Other uses TBC. SEEKING: An interesting music hybrid of styles. The agency mentioned how much they liked Gangstagrass in terms of the theme for the TV series "Justified"- a mix of rap, folk, country. While not specifically looking for this style they certainly DO NOT want the standard genre track. More a mix of different styles- but must have an American feel. Vocals please. Lyrics don't have to be specific. It's the general vibe we are talking about but obviously nothing that is detrimental or negative to an alcohol product. Doesn't have to be a rap but something unique in the singing style. A distinctive vocal style that makes you sit up and notice-like on hearing Tom Waits or Ray Lamontagne for the first time (but don't want Tom Waits or Ray Lamontagne soundalikes). Must be rhythmic, pacey (not super fast ), with a groove. Really important to find that unique voice! FORMAT: Two tracks maximum. DEADLINE: Monday 22nd June 9am GMT. If possible please be available (on laptop/mobile device) Monday morning post 9am for any final pitch acceptances to then upload tracks to the project workspace. Project in association with Cuesheet. --- Sync required for: Advert Type of music: License existing music Territories: UK & Eire

4 Songs Needed for Film - The Conway Curve (Sync Brief)

4 Songs Needed for Film - The Conway Curve (Sync Brief)

We need four separate songs to place with upcoming film 'The Conway Curve'. The plot centres around an orphan woman, who meets her long lost brother (a scam artist) and the two's interest collide as the woman is the sole heir to the families fortune. IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ: 1st Song: Reference song: "Ooh Child" By The Five Stairsteps The song needs to comfort and imply that 'it's all going to turn out right in the end' whilst having a sad undertone to it as well. Must have FEMALE vocals with a 70's feel. Must be up to 2 minutes long. 2nd Song: Reference Song: "If you were here" by Cary Brothers (cover of Thompson Twins version) Song must have a similar tempo and lyrical message as reference. Lead character is struggling to find balance between loving, being loved, and the remains of her family. Must be up to 2 minutes long. 3rd Song: Reference song: "A New Day" Scouting for Girls Must have 80s feel, similar timing, and most importantly the lyrics (especially the opening verse saying something like “It's a new world, it's a new way. Make a fresh start, it's a new day.” Something along these lines would be fantastic.) Must be up to 2 minutes long. 4th Song: Reference songs: "The Final Countdown" by Europe, and "Gonna Fly Now" by Bill Conti Needs to build up, pushes follow with the build up that ends on a high note. It does not have to have the 80s sound but will work if it fits. Needs to make the audience feel triumphant. This song is synced with the opening scene of a boot camp, so think of a song that's used in preparation for a huge event. If pitching please have a complete profile with examples of your work. Once accepted onto the project we will take submissions in the workspace. Up to two tracks per Song needed (i.e) Two for 1st song brief, two for second song brief and so on (up to a maximum of 8 songs). In the pitch message, please let us know WHICH of the four songs you would like to submit for once in the workspace. (Do not submit before you are accepted into the workspace. We will review your profile for this. Thank you. Budget - £5000 (Roughly £800 per song - Sync & Master) --- Sync required for: Film Type of music: License existing music Territories: World
