Arta Arden, real name Maija Vidovska, is known for her flute arrangements and improvisations on Grammy-nominated and legendary albums of Lee Scratch Perry (“Back On the Controls”, “Black Album”), Max Romeo (“Horror Zone”), and releases of Kibir La Amlak (“The Joy Of Life“, “Mental Freedom“, “Restoreth I Soul“), as well as recordings of Mystical Powa, Solo Banton, Fusedmarc and other artists representing a wide range of genres. As a singer/songwriter, Arta Arden has collaborated with the Austrian band from Vienna, Dubblestandart, releasing together the single “Burnt Bridges“ in 2024, following an LP, “Bass 4 a Nervous Planet”, in 2025 that included 2 songs written and performed by Arta Arden – “Burnt Bridges“ and “Black Cherries“.
