About Cantadria
Cantadria (Adriana Ruiz) began her musical journey at the age of seven with piano studies, later discovering her voice and a deep love for choral music at the Conservatorio Esteban Salas in her native Santiago de Cuba. Under the guidance of the celebrated composer and educator Electo Silva, she became an integral member of the ensemble Orfeón Santiago, performing as both soloist and chorister in acclaimed recordings and international tours throughout Europe and the Caribbean. Grounded in classical tradition yet continually inspired by curiosity and creative exploration, Adriana has cultivated a distinctive and expressive artistic voice. Her work bridges centuries and styles, weaving together the elegance of historical performance with the vitality of contemporary sound. Through her singing, she seeks to reveal the living soul of early music—reimagined with authenticity, sensitivity, and a modern poetic spirit.
