dease joined Music Gateway on 01 Sep 2025. He is an artist, composer, and lyricist, and the bearer of one of the most striking and unique aesthetic and sonic offerings on the Argentine independent pop scene. Originally from the Buenos Aires suburbs, dease began playing bass in the alternative rock band Polen at the age of 15, and currently embodies an alter ego that gives life to his sonic universe, dease. In his words: "My work is born from a feeling of alienation from the outside world." To counteract this, he invents a refuge, an arcadian space where pain is transfigured into melody, chaos becomes tragedy, and the everyday becomes fantastical. In his sonic universe, the melodic sensibility of pop, the synthetic landscapes of electronic music, and the audacity to experiment with whatever he pleases coexist. This fusion doesn't follow preexisting formulas: dease moves between genres without fear of breaking with the established, but with the sole intention of always building something new.
