GLASSHADOW / Timothy Thurston joined Music Gateway on 15 Jul 2025 Born June 16th 1964 in Somerset Kentucky, Tim Thurston is no stranger to music Or the stage! At 7 years of age, Tim learned how to play the flat top guitar and soon The Bass Guitar followed as well as the Drums the Piano/Keyboard and developed His style of music through out the 1970's and 1980's. He has sung all of his life and Learned harmony vocals at a young age listening to his Dad and such artists as Les Paul, The Carpenters and the Bee Gee's. he has been known to throw comedy line in A time or two if he makes a mistake! in Tim's early teens he enjoyed listening to his Dad play. his Dad's band, the Cedar Valley Boys, sparked ideas for future bands that Tim has been in, such as Silver Ryder Band & Martial Law. He now goes by GLASSHADOW in his music... he has preformed sound hook-ups and operations and Run sound for many people and bands in his hometown of New Castle, Indiana for Many years. his love for music includes many types of music From the decades past And sounds perfected by His mentors, Dad & Mom, Les Paul, Carpenters, Bee Gees And Daryl Hall, it has lead his music to the sound it is today.
