About Greg Whitman
Music has always been a part of my life. I grew up loving sports, but at 18 I moved to Los Angeles to pursue music and started an independent record label, producing artists and running a studio for nearly a decade. It was an incredible chapter, but eventually I felt the pull to come back home to Louisiana and build a different kind of life. Back in Metairie, I found a new path in business, eventually creating and managing a new hospitality concept called Loft18. Around the same time, life brought its greatest blessings — my wife and our two young boys. These days the schedule can be full and the days busy, but music has never left me. Late at night, after the house quiets down, my home studio becomes a place to slow down and create. For me, making music feels a lot like painting — it’s a release, a passion, something I’m naturally pulled toward. Over the past several years I began working on a personal project: an album built piece by piece in those quiet moments. I took my time with it, slowly writing, producing and shaping songs that reflect themes of love, faith, gratitude, and hope. That collection of songs eventually became "Ridgeway Drive" named after the street where my family and I now live. “I Found Home” became the single because it captures the heart of the journey — the realization that the things we spend years chasing often lead us back to what matters most. My hope is simply that these songs bring a little encouragement, perspective, or peace to anyone who hears them.
