Javonntte

Javonntte Garrett, born and raised in Detroit, has been a significant figure in the house music scene since the 1990s. An independent singer, songwriter, producer, and dancer, Javonntte's musical style blends jazz fusion, funk, pop, and house music.   He began producing in the 90s and gained recognition in the 2000s, releasing music on several small record labels across the United States and Europe. He has collaborated with notable Detroit artists like Blake Baxter and Amp Fiddler early in his career and currently works with Kai Alce. Javonntte also toured as a dancer with Aretha Franklin's troupe.   His music is characterized by smooth grooves, heartfelt melodies, and hypnotic rhythms, often incorporating traditional techno and house elements with a warm, retro vibe from analog synths and drum machines.
