Malakye Grind

Australian rockers Malakye Grind are set to release their first single, "Into the Night," from their forthcoming 11-track album Dystopian Dream. Dropping globally on Friday, 13th September through the UK-based Extreme Music Label, "Into the Night" showcases the band releasing their best work to date. Recorded at Powderfinger’s Airlock Studio and mixed by Australian engineer Forrester Savell (Karnivool/Birds of Tokyo), this new album delves deeper into their hard rock and punk roots. The Australian and International radio stations that supported Malakye Grind’s 2021 LP Music for Midnight People and its single "Watch the Burn" played a crucial role in boosting the band’s visibility. This exposure led to their music being featured in the Marvel franchise for the promotional release of Thor: Love and Thunder and the widespread use of their swagger rock track "Wanna Party" for Ruby Nation TV broadcasts in Australia and Europe. The band’s second LP, Dystopian Dream, will drop two weeks after the release of "Into the Night" and will be accompanied by two new music videos (for "Into the Night" and "Everyday is Perfect"). Additionally, they have plans for short release tours in Australia and the US later in the year.
