'Time' is a powerful and emotive track born out of a writing session with Mali, MNEK, and the late Andrea Martin. Mali is a singer-songwriter known for his work with Chase & Status and more, and MNEK is a hit maker who has written for artists such as Beyoncé and Dua Lipa. The song's producer, Seton Daunt, had the idea of looping a sample under the original song, and the loop he used was Four Tet's "Love Cry". When Kieran heard the track, he was so impressed that he gave his blessing for the sample to be used in the song. As a songwriter, Mali (Mali McCalla) has worked with some of the best writers and producers in the industry. Having written songs with artists such as John Legend and worked with producer/writers behind some of the biggest artists of our time such as Amy Winehouse, Ed Sheeran, and Kanye West. 'Mali - Time' is out now on Late Night People.
