RuBe

RuBe (pronounced Ruby) is a 19 year old singer songwriter from North London. She has been singing and playing music since 6 years old. She is inspired by friends and family, with her younger brother who has Down’s Syndrome being a huge influence on her writing. Her first three releases were a Trilogy for him to raise awareness about the condition. As Music & Entertainers says, RuBe “encourages listeners to view the condition from a different perspective. Her music serves as a catalyst for empathy and understanding.” RuBe’s sound is a mixture of acoustic sad pop blended with drum and bass, and all her songs start on the piano.
