Abeer Nehme

“The All-Styles Specialist“ – one of the few artists in the world capable of performing in more than 25 languages. She is known for her ability to compose and perform music in a diverse range – from Oriental pop to Opera and contemporary western. ‘Waynak’ – her first single with Universal Music MENA topped the official radio charts in MENA for weeks, followed by her latest single 'Bala Ma Nhess' - Abeer's 2nd biggest hit till date. Awarded several prizes and recognitions, including the Wadih El Safi Academic Award, the Murex d’Or (in 2010, 2017 and 2019) for Best Voice in the Arab World and the cultural award in Galicia, Spain (among others). As a constant explorer of music cultures and new dialects, Abeer was asked by the Indian Embassy in Lebanon to perform a traditional poem as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
