Later that year she composed music for the opening of the indigenous festival Riddu Riddu at the 100th anniversary of the Sámi rights meeting, featuring a throat singer from the Tuvan vocal group Huun-Huur-Tu. In recent years Mette Henriette created works for orchestras, chamber ensembles, ballets, architecture and film worldwide. «Mette Henriette is different.» — Marina Abramovic «A contemporary music star on the rise.» — The Guardian «It is seldom I find someone I don't know in the music world when that someone is one who surprises you with their talent and presence, and Mette is one of these people with that rare quality.
