Reviews

RNR Magazine says “excellent cast list…too many good performances to mention. It has become a great favourite” and “if you haven’t been already, try it”.

“Now in its eighth year, this is a unique music festival with a great community atmosphere and amazing singing. The MacMillan, ( 7 Last Words from the Cross) on the Wednesday night was astonishing. The singers from top choral groups form the Festival Chorus along with amazing musicians. These coupled with the acoustics in the Minster, make this an unforgettable few days of music making. There are also several fringe events, a children’s concert along with folk (this year Kathryn Tickell) and jazz (the Magpie Trio) to ensure there is music to suit a variety of tastes. Don’t miss it!!” Trip Advisor

“I loved this festival, such great music and a lovely community atmosphere. My favourite concert was the celebrity recital; outstanding music. Will definitely be returning next year with the family.” Trip Advisor
