We were pleased to be part of the music supervision on the Award Winning Christmas Feature Film, The Loss Adjuster! In collaboration with Pink Flamingo Films & Tall Tree Production, the film premiered on Friday 27th November 2020.
The Loss Adjuster film stars Luke Goss – a “Hapless Insurance Loss Adjuster”, who feels his life is out of control. But soon discovers that even when you reach rock bottom, some clouds really do have a silver lining. When his wife leaves him, he befriends strangers around the city at Christmas time.
“The idea was to create a story of hope, fortitude, craziness set against sadness, loss and frustration. But also create the ability to laugh at the same time. Picking yourself up through tiny moments and kind gestures from those real friends around you and unexpected goodness.”
The Loss Adjuster film also stars some incredible names alongside Luke Goss including; Guy Siner, Martin Kemp, Lorna Fitzgerald, Cathy Tyson, Joan Collins, and Kym Marsh.
Sophie Small supervised the creative and clearance for the music on the project. As a result, the film has been awarded Best Music / Score 2020 at the Vancouver International Film Awards.
Our brilliant Music Services team made this happen with the combined supervision from Sophie Small & Sam Loughlin, as well as the spectacular work of composer Walter Mair.
Beverley Knight’s Christmas Wish
Beverley Knight has released a special Christmas single written by Jayne Mackie, Tre Jean Marie & Alex Smith which has been created specifically for the promotional release of the film. Set for release on Friday 13th November 2020. Our hard-working and dedicated music promotion team here at Мusic Gateway are also working with Beverley to help promote the track – we’re so excited!
