Keisha McLeod is the CEO of Legacy Records, a record label based in New York City. She has been at the helm of the company since its founding in 2014 and has since helped it become one of the most successful independent record labels in the music industry. She is a music industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in the business and has held various positions including A&R, Artist Management, and Label Management.

McLeod began her career in the music industry in 2002, working her way up the ladder in the A&R department of Def Jam Recordings. She was promoted to Vice President of A&R in 2006 and was responsible for signing artists such as Rihanna, Kanye West, and Justin Bieber.

In 2010, McLeod left Def Jam and founded Legacy Records, and has since been responsible for the success of the label, signing some of the biggest stars in the industry and helping to launch the careers of many up-and-coming artists. Her success has been largely attributed to her ability to spot and nurture talent, as well as her passion for music.

Legacy Records is a  groundbreaking record label that pays its artists in cryptocurrency and uses NFTs. As CEO, McLeod is responsible for leading the executive board of her team and making major corporate decisions. She also oversees all operations and resources of the company, acting as a liaison between the board of directors and all employees.

She has signed a number of successful artists, including Drake, Nicki Minaj, and The Weeknd. Legacy Records has also released a number of successful albums, including Drake’s “Take Care” and The Weeknd’s “Beauty Behind the Madness.”

McLeod has also been an advocate for women in the music industry. She has spoken out against gender inequality in the industry and has worked to create opportunities for female artists.
