There are plenty of rappers in Baltimore. The city has a vibrant hip-hop scene and is home to many well-known artists, such as JPEGMAGIA, Young Moose, and Tate Kobang. Baltimore has a thriving underground scene with many up-and-coming rappers. JPEGMAFIA

JPEGMAGIA is a rising rapper from Miami, Florida. He is known for his unique style of rap that blends together Latin and Hip-Hop influences. His lyrics are often witty and clever, making him a fan favorite. He has collaborated with many of the biggest names in the Latin rap scene, including J Balvin, Maluma, and Bad Bunny. He has also released several singles and mixtapes that have received critical acclaim. His latest project, “Agua de Mayo”, was released in 2020 and features some of his best work to date. JPEGMAGIA is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about rappers in the Latin rap scene.

YounG Moose

YounG Moose is a rapper from Baltimore, Maryland. He is best known for his mixtapes, including “Welcome to the Zoo”, “Out The Mud”, and “The Realest”. He is also known for collaborating with other Baltimore-based rappers, such as Tate Kobang, DDG, and Lightshow. He is currently signed to E1 Music and has released two albums, “Organized Crime” and “Legal Money”. His music has been featured in various media outlets, including XXL, The Source, and Noisey.

Tate Kobang

Tate Kobang is an American rapper from Baltimore, Maryland. He is best known for his single “Bank Rolls”, which peaked at number 54 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. He has released two studio albums, On My Momma (2016) and Silent Waves (2019). He is also the founder of the independent label, TateKobangMusic.

King Los

King Los is a rapper from Baltimore, Maryland. He is best known for his mixtapes Becoming King, Zero Gravity II, and God Money War. He was signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy Records in 2013 and released his debut album Becoming King in 2014. Los has collaborated with artists such as T.I., Meek Mill, Wale, Pusha T, and Rick Ross. He has also been featured on tracks by Ty Dolla Sign, Tyga, and Juicy J.

Tupac Shakur

Tupac Shakur was an American rapper, songwriter, and actor. He was born on June 16, 1971, in East Harlem, New York City, and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He is considered by many to be one of the greatest and most influential rappers of all time. Tupac released four solo albums and was a central figure in the East Coast hip-hop scene. He was also known for his political and social activism, often addressing issues of racism, poverty, and injustice in his music. He was tragically murdered in Las Vegas in 1996 at the age of 25.

Shordie Shordie

Shordie Shordie is a rapper from Baltimore, Maryland. He is best known for his single “Bitchuary” which peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. He has collaborated with a number of artists, including Trippie Redd, YBN Nahmir, and BlocBoy JB. His latest project, Captain Hook, was released in 2018.

Lloyd Banks

Lloyd Banks is an American rapper from Baltimore, Maryland. He is best known for his membership in the rap group G-Unit, alongside 50 Cent and Tony Yayo. Banks released his debut solo album The Hunger for More in 2004, which was certified gold by the RIAA. He has since released four more solo albums, including Rotten Apple in 2006, H.F.M. 2 (Hunger for More 2) in 2010, The Cold Corner 2 in 2012, and All or Nothing in 2014.

Blaqstarr

Blaqstarr is an American rapper, songwriter, and producer from Baltimore, Maryland. He is best known for his work with the Baltimore club music scene. Blaqstarr has released several solo albums, including The Mixtape Vol. 1 (2007), The Mixtape Vol. 2 (2009), and The Blaqstarr EP (2009). He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Diplo, M.I.A., Rye Rye, and Spank Rock. He has also produced tracks for various artists, including Santigold, Kid Sister, and Wale.

K-Swift

K-Swift was a Baltimore-based rapper and DJ who became one of the city’s most popular and influential hip-hop figures in the early 2000s. She was known for her hard-hitting lyrics and energetic performances and was a major force in the Baltimore club music scene. K-Swift released several mixtapes and albums and was the first female artist to be signed to Baltimore’s Unruly Records label. She tragically died in 2008, aged 29, after a pool accident at a Baltimore nightclub. Her legacy continues to live on in Baltimore’s hip-hop and club music scenes.

Detranada

Detranada is a Baltimore-based rapper and songwriter. She is known for her hard-hitting bars and her energetic stage presence. She has released several singles and has collaborated with other Baltimore rappers such as TT The Artist, DDm, and Young Moose. She is a member of the Baltimore music collective called Bmore Music Union.
