Bio

Nigel has been composing music since a very early age and has written over 200 pieces of music. These include commissioned work for a range of settings, compositions for courses and officially released albums through AMAdea Music. He plays piano, synths, keys, drums, percussion, bass, guitar and the odd vocals.

Nigel composes music in a wide range of styles from electronic, rock, metal, jazz, latin and more recently classical. He has also produced compositions and arrangements to accompany other media. He is now a featured artist on the Audiosparx Network for TV, Media and Film as well as being in the N1M top 10 for over month in the Ambient charts. His best position being number 2, 3 and 4 consecutively for two weeks.

Nigel’s compositions are available on Amazon, Itunes and Spotify and he has also appeared on Chat and Spin Radio, Power Of Prog radio, Youtube and N1M network. More recently he is on constant circulation on 365 Rock and Extreme Radio Network. Nigel is currently studying for a PhD in Music Technology, Sonic Art and Composition at ARU.

In addition to this he has been a teacher for 26 years and has worked in Primary, Secondary, Special Needs and Pre Schools. He has studied Composition at the OCA, Colchester Institute and music at The Open University. He has just completed an MA Music at Middlesex University for which he gained a distinction. He has also gained a HonFTCM honorary diploma for services to music education this year. Nigel currently teaches drums at Middlesex University on their BA Music Degree and BMus Pop Music Degree. He is married with 2 children aged 21 and 12.
